Piano lessons

I run music lessons for fun or learning. Using a diverse range of teaching techniques, my lessons are student focused, responding to the needs of my students and their age and skill-level. I integrate various elements of music practice and theory into my lessons to increase student engagement and to give my students a more holistic understanding of music playing and making.

I have a Bachelor of Music (USQ), and a Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy (UQ).

I am an experienced music teacher and registered music therapist who has worked with students and clients of all ages and abilities.

I take a client-focused approach, responding to the needs, age and skill-level of my students. My teaching methods are holistic, encouraging students to engage in music practice and theory, as well as music-making and improvisation.
