Piano Lessons

In lessons students work through various aspects of piano playing. Technique, expression, music history, form, harmony to mention just a few. Students identify their individual goals and we work towards them.

In response to my commitment to lessons, I expect students to make a commitment in return (practice, seeing live music, and performances)



Miriam Briggs

I completed my Bachelor degrees in Music (Pianoforte) and Teaching at The University of Melbourne. While attending the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music I studied with Glen Riddle in addition to attending master-classes with Max Cooke, Dr. Roger Woodward and Dr. Ronald Farren-Price. I have been teaching Piano since 2003 and have been a specialist classroom Music teacher since 2006. I currently live in Yackandandah, Victoria. It is my pleasure to provide quality classroom music, choral and individual instruction to students in Tallangatta, Kiewa, Chiltern, Albury / Wodonga and surrounding areas. I also perform locally and encourage student performance in their communities.
