Piano Lessons. Robina Area. A.M.E.B. Grades available or learn just for pleasure. i have 35 years experience working with and teaching children, Beginning from prep⁄kindergarten through to Year 12 students. Piano lessons available for both children and adults.
$30 per half hour. $45 for a 45 minute lesson and $60 for an hour lesson. I teach up to 8th Grade practical and up to 5th Grade Theory/Musicianship.
I cover all aspects of piano tutoring. Practical, theory, musicianship, sight reading, aural⁄ear training, general knowledge, scale work and technical finger skills and exercises. Higher graded students may require either 45 minute lessons or hourly lessons per week, depending on Grade.
Teaching is an art form in itself, as well as having the ability to successfully impart knowledge to young children and even adults. I am very proficient in bringing out the very best in students. I have always enjoyed working with children.It has been my life’s work.
I have also worked in many private and public schools as a peripatetic piano tutor as well as Choir teacher, Musical Event Director and Co-ordinator, and am also a certified learning support assistant, teaching music to children with special needs.
Music is not just about learning to read, write and play an instrument, but it is also about teaching students to form a love and passion for music.
Children that learn an instrument are more likely to excel in their studies at school, they learn to work better in teams, it enhances their thinking skills and encourages them to pursue further education. There is so much information out there about the benefits of children learning an instrument. Music truly is food for the heart and soul.Music is also healing to the heart and soul.
