Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm ($66/hr)
Saturday: CLOSED
Sunday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm ($77/hr)

ABOUT ME: I offer one-on-one lessons in piano, music theory, aural, and musicianship skills. My aim in teaching is to foster students’ love of music and to help them grow into capable, independent musicians. I teach from home in Maylands.

I had my first piano lesson at the age of 13 and went on to complete Grade 7 Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory exams, as well as the Certificate of Music Teaching Australia (CTMusA) with the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB).

I have attended Western Australian and Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conferences and regularly attend seminars and workshops (e.g. AMEB, ANZCA, Dalcroze Australia, Orff Australia, and WAMTA) for professional development.

I have been a member of the WA Music Teachers’ Association (WAMTA) since 2003 and have been teaching music since 2004.

Students have received Awards for Excellence in AMEB Piano and Theory exams and have won awards in Central South Eisteddfod, City of Albany Music Eisteddfod, City of Cockburn Music Eisteddfod, Katanning WOMM Talent X-posed, North of Perth Music Festival, South Suburban Music Society Eisteddfod, WA Pianists’ Competition, and WAMTA Recital and Concerto Competition as well as performing in several winners’ concerts. Several students have participated in AMEB masterclasses/seminars and in the UWA Summer School.
