Peter Hughes

Pete Hughes is a Melnourne-based perfroming artist and piano teacher.

He started playing from a young age and through high school completed AMEB exams and VCE (Classical). He is currently completing a Bacholer Of Music at Monash University studying Jazz Piano.

Peter has been fortunate enough to learn from some of Melbournes most distinguished artists such as Steve Sedergreen, Tony Gould, Rob Burke, Paul Williamson, Marc Hannaford, and Tony Floyd.

In 2010 Peter had the opportunity to perform with U.S guitarist John Abercrombie as part of the 2010 International Jazz Festival.

Peter is currently studying, teaching, and Performing with several jazz quartets around Melbourne.
