Piano Lessons

I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I have 8 years experience teaching Piano, this includes Theory, Musicianship and AMEB Exam preparation. Throughout my teaching career I have worked with students of all ages, in the classroom as well my own private studio in Balmain.

In addition to my degree, I have completed Orff Level 2 and Kodaly Level 1 certificates for my own professional development. I have a strong interest in piano and music pedagogy with a particular focus on early childhood and developing young piano players.

My experience working as a classroom music teacher has allowed me to work with children of all ages and musical backgrounds and to cater for different styles of learning. In addition to teaching at my private studio, I have worked at St Andrew’s Cathedral School as a piano and musicianship teacher for a number of years.
