Piano Lessons

At Sam Reynolds Music, our piano students learn more than just how to play songs. Practical knowledge such as learning to improvise, songwriting skills, performance techniques and how to play with others are core components of lessons.

All the teachers at Sam Reynolds Music enjoy applying innovative teaching methods that help form a creative, fun and relaxed learning environment. Beginners are always welcome, parents or family members may also sit in on lessons. All students are given the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience at our regular end of term gigs.

In our piano lessons, we focus on the joy of playing & creating music. Our students do not do grades as we find this to be a stressful experience for students & often creates boredom in lessons. We do a mixture of contemporary music as well as classical.

Reynolds & Co Music School

Reynolds & Co is a music school located in Newcastle, NSW under the guidance of internationally successful TV composer Sam Reynolds. We offer lessons for guitar, singing, piano, drums, bass, ukulele, banjo & violin.

Our unique teaching method focuses on having fun whilst learning the fundamentals of music with a strong emphasis on learning how to write songs, improvising & playing with others. We believe that anyone can learn an instrument given the right environment, encouragement and guidance.
