Robert van Gend

Robert is a violin and viola teacher near Picton, an hour south of Sydney. Over the past thirteen years Robert has achieved five Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Diplomas, (2 Licentiate Diplomas and 3 Associate Diplomas). He has taught music lessons for seven years and his students have been successful in AMEB examinations. He also conducts high school orchestras.

In 2011 Robert was a Recitalist at the National Youth Concerto Competition, and he has been awarded the Harmer Memorial Scholarship for Viola three times. In 2015 Robert was the Principal Violist at the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camp.
