Piano Lessons

I have 12 years experience teaching piano for both the AMEB and Trinity syllabus. Lessons are catered to individual students needs and learning styles. I focus on fostering a love of music through a broad musical education ensuring technique, sight reading, musical theory and musicality are honed to the best of each students abilities.

Lessons are available at my studio but I am also able to travel to students homes. I charge $50 per hour or $25 per half hour. If paid in advance by the school term a 10% discount is given.

The first lesson is offered free as it is important students have the opportunity to ensure they feel comfortable with the teacher.

Sally Mae

Raised in a musical family I began my study of music at the age of 3 on my primary instrument, classical piano. Since this early and promising start I have developed a deep love and understanding of music, particularly, music education.

I began teaching in 2003 and completed 8th grade AMEB with honours in 2004. I also completed 6th grade AMEB Music Theory and Musicianship alongside NSW HSC Music 2 at this time. I have also studied clarinet, guitar and voice.

I have continued teaching piano, music theory and music skills since this time giving me 12 years experience. My current students range from 3 years old to 23 years old, from studying the basics of musical concepts to 8th grade piano. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome.

I am currently undertaking a Bachelor in Music Education to further my experience and provide the best possible learning opportunities for each students.
