Qualified with Bachelor of Music (QCGU) and fellow of The Australian National Academy of Music. Studied piano with Natasha Vlassenko and Boris Berman (Yale). Private tuition provided at the convenience of your own home or at fully furnished piano studio, equipped with quality grand piano and three keyboards. Students may learn simply for leisure or choose to be prepared for AMEB Piano and Piano for Leisure examinations, AMEB Theory examinations Grade 1 – 5 and/or VCE Music Solo Performance.

Incorporates the use of the whole body especially the wrist, elbow, upper arm and back, prevents undesirable pain or tension and resultant injury and allows for more expressive freedom at the piano.

- Music analysis, stylistic knowledge and interpretative skills

Gain a deeper appreciation of the harmony, key, modulations, phrase structure and form of the repertoire you are learning, learn about the conventions of that style and use this to guide your interpretative decisions.
