Piano Lessons – Beginners welcome! – Teaching from home studio at Matraville in the Eastern Suburbs. High level of AMEB qualifications and has had over 4 years of teaching experience for students of all ages.

Sherilyn Chen

Biography:

As a pianist, Sherilyn has attained many achievements and public appearances. She has studied under Natalia Sheludiakova and completed her Bachelor degree at the Sydney Conservatorium under Dr Bernadette Harvey. She has performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House, solo recital concerts in Bundanoon, and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has also achieved various gold and silver medals at various eisteddfods in NSW. She was the winner of the Chopin Piano and 19th Century sections from Sydney Eisteddfod in 2012.

Sherilyn has had masterclasses and lessons with internationally renowned teachers and pianists such as Angela Hewitt, John Perry, Professor Seunghee Kim, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Marco Rapetti and Christian Müller. Sherilyn has commenced private piano teaching and accompanying since 2011. She has accompanied for AMEB exams, recitals, HSC exams and music concerts. Most recently, she has performed overseas as an accompanist in vocal recitals in Italy as part of the inaugural Estivo Music Festival.
