Travelling Piano Lessons

From a family line of musicians, Sine Winther has been playing the piano her whole life and has been teaching since beginning her undergraduate degree at the Queensland Conservatory.

She is eager to share her passion for music with her students of all ages and levels, who have piqued their creativity, knowledge, and enjoyment in playing the piano. All periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, Minimalism) of Classical piano music are covered, and exams/performance opportunities are part of the student’s learning.

Sine lives around Samford and teaches in her home, or can travel to yours depending on the suburb. Lessons of 30 mins, 45 mins, or 1 hour are given. Please call/text if you would like further details!

Sine Winther

An intrinsic artist who brings fresh imagination and deep insight into the music she plays. Sine’s parents were both concert-pianists, who fostered her musical artistry from young; and together they founded their house-concert series, ‘Piano Viva’. Later, she began formal tutelage under the Russian pedagogue Natasha Vlassenko at the Young Conservatorium, and subsequently entered the Queensland Conservatorium.

Sine has performed in several venues, festivals, and competitions throughout Australia- most recently reaching the semi-finals in the prestigious Lev Vlassenko Competition 2013, the Australian Catholic University, South Brisbane Old Town Hall, 4MBS Festival of Classics, and made her concerto debut in 2013 with the Queensland Philharmonia. This year, her budding career will see her perform interstate and nationally.
