Piano Lessons

Learn piano from a registered teacher with the Australian Guild of Music Education with an Associate Diploma in a friendly and comfortable environment. Both practical and theory is taught and students work towards yearly exams in both these areas conducted by the Guild. Students also have the opportunity to perform at end of year concerts. Private lessons are taught from either a new upright or grand piano. I aim for all lessons to be enjoyable as students will develop their love for music.

All ages welcome starting from 3.5/4 years of age. A fun music programme incorporating rhythmic exercises, musical games and an introduction to the piano is designed for this young age.

Sophie Kerrigan

Sophie’s private piano tuition caters for all ages and for each individuals abilities. Lessons are taught from her house in Landsdale on either a new upright or baby grand piano.

Students will learn various styles of music and songs that they are interested in and also sit for exams in classical and theory through the Australian Guild of Music. Each year a huge number of Sophie’s students receive high achievement awards for their exam results with the Guild receiving 90+ and representing Western Australia.

Sophie also holds an end of year concert for all her students to participate in which is great experience to play for an audience and perform for family and friends.

Sophie endeavours to make each lesson enjoyable so that the student can develop their love for music! Classes start from ages 3.5/4 depending on the individual and a fun music programme is designed for this age including rhythmic and musical games, note naming, basic piano playing and learning to write.

30 minute lessons are $25 or 1 hour is required for higher grades for $50. Lessons are held Monday – Friday 2.30-8pm and Saturday 10-12.30pm please contact me for times I have available.
