Piano Lessons

Do you want to be able to creatively express yourself? Do you want to be able to sit down at the piano and rattle off your favourite tune?
I aim to inspire a love for music, coupled with quality piano playing skills in a range of styles adapted for you!

Lessons focus on exploring a wide range of repertoire through note reading and playing by ear as well as exploring composition and improvising.

While the focus is not on learning for examinations – though they can be done – I will encourage opportunities to perform in a variety of situations as I believe that performance is a key to mastering confidence in one’s abilities, and will certainly help in many other areas of life.

A warm, gentle and friendly person, I have a passion for sharing the joy of music with those around me. I see the process of creating music as a fine art and as a great means of self-expression!

I also am aware of the many benefits that musical training brings to one’s life, education and work.

My teaching reflects this as I work with individuals to build the skills of mastery and persistence while creating music in a warm, comfortable and family-friendly environment.
