The love of music is the infectious guiding force that drives us all here at the Sound Centre. As an organisation we want to nuture that very love of music in each and every one of our students and create a passion that will last a lifetime.

We offer lessons for piano, guitar, drum and vocals. In a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere, students are able to progress in their chosen instrument and obtain a gift to see them into the future.

Lessons are one on one with a qualified teacher for a duration of thirty minutes, ensuring that every student is given the attention and direction needed. Our teachers are carefully selected to ensure that each and every student’s needs are catered for. All our teachers go through a rigorous skills test which also includes a Police Clearance/Working With Children Check. All of our teachers are dedicated to their students learning. Whether you are interested in learning an instrument for fun, to fulfill a life long desire, to create a career path, to learn your favourite songs, or to excel for obtaining scholarships, Sound Centre’s School of Music can fulfill your needs.

The School of Music runs in accordance with the academic school terms (4 terms in each year with 2 weeks holiday between each). Our school operates Monday to Saturday. Week day lessons generally commence at 3.00pm, with the last lessons taking place at 7.30pm in the evening. Saturday’s hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Assessing you or your child’s progress is easy and informative at the Sound Centre. At the end of each term reports are filled out by your teacher assessing skill development so its easy to gauge your growth as a fine musician. One year or more of music lessons gains students a Certificate of Achievement plus, the much anticipated end of year awards are given to those students who excel outstandingly well.
