One of Sydney’s premier music schools, Sydney Vocal Academy offers tuition in singing, piano and guitar. We have students from all over the Sutherland Shire and beyond.

SVA has a strong positive culture where students enjoy developing their music skills. We offer a variety of classes and have innovative and unique teaching methods that produce confident, musically literate performers.

SVA is owned by Lauren and Tim Moxey, a husband and wife team who are passionate about music education. As parents themselves they understand the need for affordable tuition, and so SVA offers a wide range of options for all budgets.

Tim is a recording artist who was on The Voice 2013. He is signed with Downunder Label Group and has released 2 full-length studio albums. Tim is not just a singer who teaches; he has a sophisticated approach to singing education and is able to explain difficult concepts in ways appropriate to the individual student. We have several excellent teachers who work with us, bringing a wide range of experiences and skills to our students.
