The SoundLab in Melbourne is an epic event space and state of the art music tutorial studio offering unique interactive sessions in Guitar, Keys, Drums & Vocals.

The SoundLab is the official tuition studio of the Gallin’s Guitar group and proudly affiliated with the most prestigious international brands such as Gibson & Epiphone Guitars, Roland Electronic Drums, Yamaha Keys & Rode Microphones.

We have a range of services on offer all geared toward the practical application of performance; up to 6 in a group our group sessions differ greatly from your stock standard and often expensive individual lessons. You’ll find this is a great affordable alternative, however, we do offer Individual Sessions for those that require a more one-on-one approach.

Currently we have on offer intensive ‘Ten-week Courses’ and ‘Individual Sessions’ where discounts are available for session cards. From time-to-time we run Workshops geared toward the technical and stylistic elements of performance and Masterclasses that offer access to high profile Australian and international artists.

What’s special about our studio and why should students come to The SoundLab?

The SoundLab is an epic event space and state of the art music tutorial studio that is proudly affiliated with the most prestigious instrument brands. We specialise in Group Tuition and Band Coaching, but our Individual Sessions are also popular.

The setup is certainly unique offering interactive sessions in GUITAR, KEYS, DRUMS & VOCALS; for all ages and all levels of ability. Our students are instructed by our teachers live in the studio, run silently by the cutting edge Jamhub outfit, the interactivity of the Jamhub is like guitar hero but with real instruments!

Our adult Group Sessions offer an extremely unique learning environment, where acoustically group lessons are near on impossible, the Jamhub setup offers each student studio quality sound and also a great opportunity to meet other players. Bring in your band and we can coach you in terms of songwriting, musicianship, marketing, etc. or you can have The SoundLab all to yourself with a ‘One on One’. We also run weekly ‘Lil Rockstar’ Workshops and Holiday Masterclasses for the youngsters, featuring mini Electric guitars and electronic drum kits.

With an adaptable room configuration The Soundlab is an awesome space suitable for an array of events like: Artist workshops, EP/Album Launches or Listening parties, Product showcases and more.
