Piano Lessons

Having started learning piano at age 3, it has become a great passion of mine and has become such an important part of my life. I specialise in contemporary piano, having gained my AMUS.A (Honours) in contemporary piano in 2011. I’m extremely interested to teach anyone who wants to learn, and to spread my love of one of my favourite past times!

My teaching method would start with basic technique and move into workshopping to get songs at a performance standard. I am also keen to teach students how to improvise songs, and learn about the way music works in a fun and practical way.

Vidya Makan

I’m currently a student at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music going into my final year of the Bachelor of Musical Theatre Program. I am an experienced singer, actor, composer, pianist and lover of music, and am keen to spread my knowledge to anyone who wants to learn.

I have a music room in my house in Robertson suitable for teaching, but am also happy to arrange to meet at individual locations if so desired.
