Piano Lessons appear to be taught in many different ways. We teach our students to actually READ their music. All of our students, including our brand new 5 year olds completely understand rhythms (and how to count them perfectly) they know ALL of their notes and understand how both hands go together. We clap, we count, we play, we sight read, we learn properly.

However, some of our students purely want to learn piano to be able to accompany themselves while singing. We offer special lessons for these types of students which are lessons on chords. These happen over a few months where the student will learn how to read chords and improvise. These lessons also provide the student with knowledge on how to write and construct their own songs.

For students who are learning piano properly (learning to read) we eventually add the chord knowledge into those lessons too so our students are able to accompany themselves and be able to play classical, pop and jazz music!

We offer lessons in Pop (including Rock, Jazz, Country etc), Musical Theatre and now Classical! In your lessons you can expect to learn technique, different voices, intense pitch training and how to stylise your song!

Our Piano Lessons are what you want to make of them! Some students study for exams, some learn for fun. Some play pop music, some play classical. You can be confident in knowing that your piano lessons will be fun!

Music Theory lessons are also available. Brush up your knowledge of theory and better yourself as a musician!

Our Acting Classes are there to help our performers be confident on stage and not to mention they are a HUGE amount of fun! Our students can learn for fun or sit for a Speech & Drama or Musical Theatre exam.

Danielle, the director of VAPA, also runs the kids division of an agency so that gives our kids an extra lead into the professional world.

All of our private lessons are tailored to suit the individual so you are always learning what you want to.

We have had an influx of ADULTS in the past year so adults are definitely encouraged to join! Why should kids have all the fun?!

All VAPA students can get involved in Concerts, CD Recordings, Workshops, Competitions, Song Writing etc. There is always something happening at VAPA!

Vocal Adrenaline Performing Arts is located in Burleigh Heads and lessons are available morning and night.
