As a dedicated, professional music teacher and performer for over 25 years, I have taught music and performance preparation across primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

Your lessons
I establish solid foundations right from the start, while making sure your lessons are fun, positive and rewarding. Tuition includes technique, rhythm, educational games and sight-reading. Music theory and Aural (ear) training are also included, enhancing your understanding of music and allowing you to play more meaningfully.

I enjoy using a range of music, activities and resources best suited to you and your goals. You can focus on what you enjoy most in the lessons, or decide what you are interested in as your playing develops.

Graduate Certificate in Music Performance, ANU
Previous member, WASO (West Australian Symphony Orchestra)
Accredited Member, WAMTA (West Australian Music Teacher’s Association)

Professional Musical Background
A dedicated, professional music teacher and performer for over 25 years, I have taught music at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. As a professional musician, I have given numerous recitals and performed bassoon with numerous Australasian orchestras, including many years as a member of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. I have taught individual lessons and held Performance Preparation workshops as guest lecturer at the Australian National University, Australian Youth Orchestra camps, the University of WA and WAAPA.
