Piano Lessons

Instruments taught include Piano, electronic keyboard & piano-accordion.

Currently, 10 tutors teach in 7 piano/keyboard studios. Our beautiful grand piano is used for visiting artists and student concerts.

Students should have access to a piano in good condition, or an electronic piano/keyboard preferably with weighted keys. Accordion students will need a piano-accordion – a sixty base instrument is generally adequate.

Tutors use a variety of approved age-appropriate teaching books and incorporate their preferred style of teaching. The student is provided with a work book which documents work for each lesson, together with practice schedules.

Young Regional School of Music (YRSM) is a not for profit community organisation which has been bringing quality music education to Young and the surrounding districts since 1984.
